At Home Guide to Isolating Amniotic Stem Cells from Placentas!

Self proclaimed biotech geek and blogger over at PIMM has posted a do-it-yourself guide to isolating amniotic stem cells from Placentas, complete with graphic pictures of the procedure.

This is interesting to say the least, and if nothing else, showcases how easy it would be for anyone, anywhere, to conduct ‘complicated’ experiments.

While most of the westernized nations, especially the U.S., continue to debate contraversial biotech research, including embryonic stem cells and genetic engineering, developing nations are most likely advancing such research in a less restrictive environment.
